NEW RELEASES: Best Albums in September

Following a turbulent few months for the New York post-punkers, Interpol have announced that their self-titled fourth album will be released on September 14th. They also have a european tour ahead, playing a few dates in France, Spain and the UK this autumn so keep checking in.
Also 80’s icon Liza Minelli is about to bring out a new album. Entitled “Confessions,” the CD is due Sept. 21 which is bang on in the middle of Liza’s tourdates in the US.
Another huge record for September is ‘Going back’, a cover album filled with Motown songs by Phil Collins. It is a tribute to the musical legends of his youth and there also is an exclusive limited edition available. Release date is the 10th of September.
Kid Cudi too is ready to unveil his next musical offering. The rapper-singer-actor will release his sophomore album ‘Man on the Moon: The Legend of Mr. Rager’ this September. Guests this time around include Kanye West and Ratatat, as well as Band of Horses. The musical autumn is going to have something in store for everyone of you!
One more artist to watch is chart-conquering Brit Mark Ronson. In between DJ gigs and dressing snazzy, Ronson has been experimenting with stepping in front of the microphone for his third album ‘Record Collection’ due Sept. 28. He bagged a number of hip musicians for this album so expect great from this!
Mark Ronson just did a live session as a DJ last friday for East Village Radio which will be repeated during the week so check in with this station to catch Mark’s session of Hip hop, Remixes and a bit of Soul from last Friday. The show is going ot be repeated next Friday 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm ET.
