Streamium NP3700 Review by Area DVD

Let’s start the week with a great news! One of our newest Streamium device, the NP3700 was recently reviewed by the well known and widely-trusted German website Area DVD.

Their review is quite detailed, full of information worth reading for if you are thinking of buying our product. Not to spoil their hard work away, but we are glad to report that their review is positive!

Area DVD appreciated ‘the elegant design, praised the easiness of setting up and navigation, as well as the acoustic sounds the device emit’, among other comments.

Philips NP2900 player is also green now!

Welcome the latest member of Philips Green Product family : the Philips NP2900 network music player. Being certified Green means that this product has a way better environmental performance when compared to competitor products  in the Green Focal Areas of weight, energy consumption, hazardous substances, packaging, recycling, disposal and lifetime reliability.

The earlier products to have achieved this rating were NP2500 and MCi500H.

Customize your NP2500 & NP2900

Many of us like to customize our electronic devices, like changing the wallpaper or screensaver of our computers or mobile phones. Now, you can also select your own wallpaper and screensaver on your NP2500 & NP2900 network players, and make them definitely yours!
To do so, simply display the picture you want to enjoy, press “settings”, “display options”, then choose whether it is your “wallpaper” or “screensaver” you want to customize, and click “current picture”. The wallpaper will enhance your experience while you’re using the device, and the screensaver will make your clock and calendar friendlier in standby-mode. A different picture can be stored into the network player for both options.

Windows Cafe : Coffee ,tea or Streamium ?

It’s no secret that the French love their cafés. Microsoft in partnership with Philips, initiated its first Windows themed café in the heart of Paris to promote Windows 7. The Windows Café opened its doors on 22nd October for users to have hands-on experience with various devices.

The Windows Café is the first of its kind in the world. It has been designed as a cool place to hang out, relax, get a hands-on tour on latest products and play around with the gadgets. Inside the café, not only beverages and snacks are served, Philips has one full floor area on 1st level dedicated to display our Streamium products like NP2900, WACS7500, MCI500H, and also televisions and Soundbar home theatre. A team of dedicated staff are there to help you with any queries.

Located at 47 Boulevard Sebastopol, the café opens Monday to Saturday. So if you’re in the area, you should check it out. Finally, a reason to go to Paris!
