Share your favorite pictures…wirelessly !

Streamium Network Music Players NP2500 and NP2900 now offer you the possibility to stream and slideshow all the pictures stored on your PC & MAC – Wirelessly.

Following their last features upgrade, the “Music” section turned into a “Media library”, and NP2500 & NP2900 are now able to “unlock” the pictures you would like to share over your wireless network.

The network players offer the same navigation as the one you had on your computer. You can easily access your pictures per folder, date, etc using Windows Media Player or Twonky to share your content. To display slideshows while listening to music, simply select your music, press the “Home” button, and then choose which of your photo album fits best with your music and your mood!

Control your Music Player from your mobile device !

Streamium network music players can now be remotely controlled and can stream music by using a “UPnP controlling device” connected to the same network.

What does it mean? With Nokia’s latest N-series phone (pre-installed with “Home Media” function) or an Apple iTouch or iPhone (with a UPnP control point software – like PlugPlayer, available on the App store), you can wirelessly access music from any source like your PC, Mac, NAS with UPnP server, Streamium MCi500H or WACS7500. You can also remotely browse the songs you want to play, and stream them wirelessly, directly to your Streamium music players, wherever they are in your home. Select a music source, select a player, and enjoy – it’s as simple as that! You can then control the main functionalities such as Play, Next, Previous, Pause, Resume, and Volume control etc.

How cool is that !!

Streamium NP2500 and MCI500H have recently received a new kind of distinction!
After winning different awards for their advanced technology, both products have now been allowed to feature the Philips Green Logo.
This means that, based on extensive benchmarks, these two products have proven a better environmental performance than their predecessors or closest commercial competitors in the Green Focal Areas of weight, energy consumption, hazardous substances, packaging, recycling, disposal and lifetime reliability. To be precise, the NP2500 uses 37% less energy, has a 10% lower Product Weight and has a 36% lower environmental impact compared to the average of its competitors. The MCI500H is up to 34% more energy efficient, has a 54% lower packaging volume, and a 36% lower environmental impact compared to the average of its competitors.
In other words, consumers have the assurance that both the NP2500 and the MCI500H constitute trustworthy green solutions in their respective products categories. And there will be more to come! The Streamium NP2900 is currently on its way to obtain the Philips Green logo as well.
