Absolute Radio is one of the finest Mainstream Indie broadcasting stations in the UK which you can receive with your Philips Streamium. You simply type ‘absolute’ into the search bar of your Streamium and fine tunes are coming your way.
These guys make the promise not to play a song twice within one working day… now that’s a start! They do celebrity interviews on a regular basis and exclusive live-sessions with the likes of the Editors, Biffy Clyro and the Raveonettes, so they have it all covered. Richard Branson founded the station in 1993 as ‘Virgin Radio’ and was the first voice on air, in 2008 the name was changed into ‘Absolute Radio’.
